How to set up and watch F1 TV on your computer or mobile device
Set up F1 TV on a computer or phone, check country-specific plan access, and troubleshoot common sign-in and playback issues.

Prerequisites
You’ll need an internet-connected computer or a compatible iPhone, iPad, or Android device, plus an F1 account. Some content requires a subscription. Plans and live-race availability vary by country, so check the official F1 TV plans page and confirm what’s offered where you live before subscribing. The page describes TV Access as including live timing and delayed race replays; check the current details for your country and chosen plan.
On mobile, install the official Formula 1 app from your device’s app store. Check the publisher before installing. On a computer, use the official Formula 1 website in a current browser.
Set up and watch F1 TV
On a computer
Open the official Formula 1 website in your browser and find F1 TV.
Sign in to your F1 account, or follow the on-screen prompts to create one. Use an email address you can access.
Review the plans and content available in your country. Subscribe only if the plan includes what you want to watch.
Open F1 TV, choose an available program, session, or replay, and select play. If access is restricted, recheck your plan and regional availability.
On a phone or tablet
Open your device’s official app store, search for the Formula 1 app, verify the publisher, and install it.
Open the app and go to F1 TV. Sign in with your F1 account or create one when prompted.
Check the plan and content available in your country, and subscribe if needed.
Choose an available program or session and tap play. Keep the app open while playback starts.
Troubleshooting
A video is unavailable: Check whether your plan includes it and whether it’s offered in your country. Availability differs by location and subscription.
Playback buffers or stops: Check your internet connection, pause other demanding internet use, and try again. If possible, test another network or device.
The app or website stops responding: Close and reopen it. Check for app or browser updates. Before uninstalling the app, make sure you know which account you use to sign in.
A white screen appears after you enter your login details in the F1 app: F1 Help says a small number of users are affected and recommends setting Chrome as the device’s default browser as a temporary workaround while a fix is being worked on.[3]
You still can’t sign in or need account or app support: Visit the official F1 TV Help Centre and follow its current guidance. Don’t share your password with anyone.
If you contact support, note your device, app or browser, and the exact error message. Steps and menus can vary by device.
